The Royal Smithfield Christmas Fair - 4th December 2006
Some of the UK team have just returned from the Royal Smithfield Christmas Fair at the Bath and West Showground, Shepton Mallet. The agricultural show proved to be a huge success for the UK Group. UK Agricultural Sales Manager Tim Ledbury said “The Smithfield Show was a lot of fun, with cows, sheep and pigs on show, various fresh produce, warm clothing to buy, and interesting trade stands to look at. We had a massive interest from the public about agricultural finance and asset finance to fund various pieces of farm machinery and stock. The UK Group will definitely be at the show again next year”. For further information, please ring Tim on 01278 772650 or email him on timl@ukfarmfinance.co.uk.

Revolutionary Renovations - 5th October 2006
UK Building Services (Somerset) Ltd. haven’t travelled far for their latest projects since finishing the company’s new offices.
Two of their latest developments have been in Somerset; the first is the completion of a renovation that has been ongoing over the last 8 months and has cost over half a million pounds.

Work has included building a new 2 bedroom extension, completely restructuring the internal layout, converting the existing barn into a swimming pool with changing facilities and a hot tub, as well as more essential items such as bathroom and kitchen facilities. The substantial gardens have been landscaped, with a new driveway at the front and electric gates installed.
Purchasing Manager, Gavin Simpson says that “the team have really enjoyed working on this renovation because of the dramatic transformation from start to finish. It is fantastic to see the clients elated at a job well done.”
The second project is a barn conversion into a luxury living space that will cost around £185,000 to complete. Some of the more technical aspects of the development include rebuilding the roof, installing a new second floor landing and finishing everything internally to the high standard that the client has demanded.
